Artists for the Barnes: Philip Cohn

Philip Cohn studied in Florence, Italy, at the Barnes Foundation and at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts where he received a Cresson European Scholarship in painting.

He has exhibited widely in the Philadelphia area at:

•   the Philadelphia Museum of Art
•   the Art Alliance
•   the Woodmere Museum
•   the Cheltenham Art Center
•   the Widener University Art Museum
•   Hahn Gallery
•   the Pennsylvania Academy

He paints outdoors, or from sketches done at the scene, and completed in the studio.
